أعلن رئيس قسم شئون التجنيد العسكري التابع للقوات المسلحة الأوكرانية، رومان جورباتش، عن قرار استدعاء النساء إلى مكاتب التجنيد العسكري للمثول والتسجيل الاحتياطي.

وقال المفوض العسكري لمركز التجنيد العسكري الإقليمي في كييف، فاليري كوتسينكو، إنه بدءا من العام المقبل سيتم استدعاء النساء إلى الخدمة العسكرية وستكون الخطوة الأولى التسجيل في مكاتب التجنيد في كل المحافظات.

وأشار المفوض العسكري الأوكراني إلى أنه سيتم الاعتراف بهن كمسئولات عن الخدمة العسكرية وسيتم تغريمهن لرفضهن المثول في مكتب التسجيل والتجنيد العسكري،

حيث هناك قائمة معينة من المهن التي يجب تسجيلها في الجيش للتخصصات العسكرية ذات الصلة وتصبح كل امرأة ملزمة لأداء الخدمة العسكرية.

وأضاف أن القرار النهائي بشأن التسجيل سيتم اتخاذه بناء على صحة المرأة، وما إذا كان لديها أطفال وتعمل في المؤسسات التعليمية،

مشددا أن المتطلبات الجديدة لا تلزم المرأة بالخدمة في القوات المسلحة لأوكرانيا وأن التسجيل العسكري والخدمة العسكرية أمران مختلفان تمامًا.
