الشرطة السودانية تحبط محاولة تهريب شحنة أسلحة تركية لإثيوبيا

أعلنت الشرطة السودانية إحباطها محاولة تهريب شحنة أسلحة تركية محلية الصنع بولاية القضارف الحدودية مع إثيوبيا، للمرة الثالثة خلال شهرين.

وقالت الشرطة، في بيان لها، إنها تمكّنت أمس الجمعة من ضبط كمية من الأسلحة التركية محلية الصنع (455 مسدسًا)، كانت معبأة في جوالات لتهريبها عبر الحدود، خلال حملة للشرطة بمحلية القريشة في ولاية القضارف.

وأضافت أن فريقًا من الشرطة داهم المهربين عبر دراجات نارية لوعورة الطريق وهطول الأمطار، وتبادل الطرفان إطلاق النار، وتمكن الفريق من وضع يده على الأسلحة، ووصل إلى مركز شرطة سيفواه بسلام.

وأكد مدير شرطة القضارف، اللواء شرطة صابر الله جابو، استمرار الجهود في تأمين المجتمع ومحاربة الذين يروعون أمنه حربًا دون هوادة، وقال «لا مزايدة في أمن المواطن وسلامته»، مشيدًا بالقوة التي نفذت العملية رغم ظروف الطقس القاسية وهطول كميات كبيرة من الأمطار.

وتعد ضبطية الأسلحة التركية المهربة إلى إثيوبيا الثالثة من نوعها خلال شهرين، حيث ضبطت السلطات في 6 يوليو الماضي، 467 قطعة سلاح تركي في طريقها عبر الحدود إلى إثيوبيا.

وفي 23 يونيو الماضي، ضبطت الاستخبارات السودانية 25 بندقية كلاشنكوف و80 مسدسًا تركيًا وكميات من ذخائر الدوشكا والكلاشنكوف في طريقها إلى إثيوبيا، وجرى القبض على 6 متهمين.

وتشهد الحدود المشتركة بين السودان وإثيوبيا توترًا، على وقع اشتباكات مع ميليشيات إثيوبية في الفشقة، وهي منطقة حدودية زراعية نائية تتبع لولاية القضارف (شرق).
