اعتمدت على الإثارة والإغراء في جميع أفلامها للوصول إلى الشهرة وسلم المجد السريع في أقصر وقت ممكن أنها الفنانة والراقصة منى إبراهيم التي نالت لقب “أجرأ ممثلة في تاريخ السينما المصرية”، واحدة من أبرز النجمات اللاتي قدمن الإغراء سواء في الأفلام اللبنانية أو المصرية في فترة السبعينات، أثارت جدلاً كبيراً من خلال دور “عشيقة” النجم الراحل فريد شوقي في فيلم “الأستاذ أيوب” الذي منع من العرض في مصر، تزوجت ما يقرب من 20 مرة وأصيبت في آخر أيامها بالجنون.

اسمها الحقيقي إقبال إبراهيم السيد البدوي، ولدت في مدينة طنطا يوم 8 مايو عام 1945، تعود أصولها إلى تركيا، لديها أربعة شقيقات، انتقلت برفقة عائلتها إلى القاهرة لتبدأ رحلتها مع عالم الرقص الشرقي، اختارت الفنانة تحية كاريوكا اسمها الفني لتصبح “منى إبراهيم”.

بدأت أولى خطواتها التمثيلية من خلال الوقوف على خشبة المسرح في مسرحية “البغل في إبريق” بطولة تحية كاريوكا وحققت نجاحات كبيرة من خلال تألقها في الرقص خلال المسرحية لتنال اعجاب الفنان فؤاد المهندس ومن هنا بدأت رحلتها الحقيقية في عالم التمثيل.

قدمت ما يقرب من 22 فيلماً أبرزها فيلم “حنفي الأبهة” و”الغاضبون” و”الخادم” و”الغني والفقير” و”رمضان فوق البركان” و”جزيرة النساء” و”الأستاذ أيوب” و”يوم الأحد الدامي” و”الجائزة الكبرى” و”العمالقة” و”الغفران” و”عودة حميدو” و”الرجل المناسب” و”العتبة جزاز”.

شاركت في عدد من المسلسلات والمسرحيات مثل، “أهلا يا جدو العزيز” و”حدث في بيت القاضي” بطولة محمد عوض و”كسبنا القضية” و”البغل في إبريق” و”خمسة وخمسة” و”دقات القلوب”.

أثارت منى إبراهيم جدلاً واسعاً بين الجمهور والوسط الفني بعد ظهورها عارية تماماً أمام النجم الراحل فريد شوقي في فيلم “الأستاذ أيوب” عام 1975، والذي يعتبر من أشهر أفلامها على الإطلاق في مشوارها الفني وتتفوق بدورها على مشهد جرأة الفنانة ناهد يسري في فيلم “سيدة الأقمار السوداء” لتنال بعد الفيلم نصيب الأسد من المشاهد الجريئة لدرجة لقبها الجمهور بأجرأ ممثلة في تاريخ السينما المصرية.

وقدم فريد شوقي خلال أحداث فيلم “الأستاذ أيوب” دور مدرس يقوم بتعليم الموسيقى لمجموعة من الفتيات وتنقلب الأحداث ويعيش الأستاذ أيوب باقة من المغامرات تقوده إلى لقاء توفيق بك “ملك الترسو” وعشيقته لولا الجذابة والتي قدمت دورها الراقصة منى إبراهيم.

قررت الرقابة المصرية على المصنفات الفنية حذف المشهد الذي ظهرت فيه “منى” أمام وحش الشاشة عارية تماماً ومنع الفيلم نهائياً من العرض رغم طرحه في لبنان، لكنه عاد مرة آخرى للانتشار مع ظهور مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي المختلفة ومنها موقع الفديوهات الشهير يوتيوب.
