التمرين الجوي المشترك “طويق 2” ينطلق من السعودية بمشاركة مصر و الامارات

حضور قائد قاعدة الأمير سلطان الجوية بالقطاع الأوسط اللواء الطيار الركن محسن الزهراني ورؤساء الوفود المشاركة، انطلقت اليوم الأحد، مناورات التمرين الجوي المشترك والمختلط “طويق 2”.

ويتطلب التمرين الجديد مستوى عاليا من الكفاءة والاحتراف في الجوانب العملياتية والفنية والإدارية، وأتى بمشاركة واسعة من عدد من الدول العربية وهي: سلطنة عمان، والإمارات العربية المتحدة، والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، وجمهورية مصر العربيه، وكذلك الكويت، والبحرين كمراقبين.

كما يستمر التمرين مدة أسبوعين، ويهدف لرفع أعلى درجات الاستعداد وتحقيق التوافق والتكامل العملياتي.

من جانبه، أوضح قائد التمرين المقدم الطيران محمد إبراهيم بن سفيان، بأن التمرين سينفذ على مراحل مختلفة، تشمل تخطيط وتنفيذ العديد من الطلعات الجوية.

وأضاف أنه يهدف لرفع الجاهزية العملياتية والتدريبية لعمليات الإسقاط الجوي التكتيكي ورفع روح التنافس بين المشاركين.

الجدير ذكره أن كافة القوات الجوية المشاركة بالتمرين كانت وصلت يوم الجمعة لقاعدة الأمير سلطان الجوية في القطاع الأوسط بكافة أطقمها الجوية والفنية والإدارية.
